DL305 Ladder Logic Programmed CPUs
DL305 CPU's The DL305 series is a small modular PLC that has been marketed by various name-brand PLC manufacturers for over 19 years. Four conventional CPUs, which offer control via RLL-style programming, are available in the DL305 family:
Two Legacy CPUs, plus the NEW D3-350 CPU with PID control and two comms ports, a killer instruction set (compatible with other DirectLOGIC PLC families) and Modbus communications. It uses a simplified I/O addressing method, accessing up to twice as much local I/O as any previous DL305 configuration (when installed in a system with -1 bases).

DL350 CPU The D3-350 is the most powerful DL305 CPU. It is a spin-off of our two most powerful CPUs, the D4-450 and D2-250(-1). It is plug-compatible with older bases, as well as analog and discrete I/O modules. The instruction set and I/O numbering scheme are similar to our DL05, DL105, DL205 and DL405 PLCs. The communications capabilities have also been greatly enhanced to now include RS422 Remote I/O, MODBUS Master and Slave protocols, as well as our own DirectNet and K-Sequence protocols. When the D3-350 is installed in a -1 base, even more features are available. These bases allow for greater I/O expansion capabilities and for future intelligent I/O modules.
- 14.8 K total memory
- 2 communication ports
- 4 PID loops
- MODBUS Master/Slave
- Remote I/O
- Floating point math
